  1. I agree with most of what you said, however, the problem is much bigger than just telling parents they have "alternatives", such as, homeschooling their children. Homeschooled children are only going to learn as much as a parent is willing to put into their education. Many, many "parents" in PC are horribly uneducated themselves. They can't spell, grammar is non-existent, proper English is non-existent. Forget about math and science. Education in the public school system is possible, but it requires parents that enforce that education at home. This is a generational problem: it didn't just start last year.
