Autumn Rain - Mary Frye, 1932
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am that swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.
Editor's Note: The demise of the Gazette in Pocahontas
County will see the rise of the digital news groups such
such as the Commentator. We are ready to stand in the
gap. Keep the faith!!!!
For example: The Times has been sitting on the Clifton matter. They can't "afford' to insult one of their advertisers. We on the other hand have no such difficulties. Truth is truth regardless of whether someone advertises with you or not.
Digital media is an equal opportunity

Just got word that Clifton's lawyers are attempting to seal the record which effectively bars the public from seen the material on the CD. Stay tuned!!!
There is something hot in the record otherwise why would the public need to be shielded from the record.

We traveled to Charleston the other day to get a copy of the files in the Clifton case. There was a CD or DVD in the file. We had no way to read it so we asked for a copy of it. I just received a call from the SC that says that the public cannot have a copy of the DVD/CD because it contains graphic information. Remember, this is the DVD that Clifton's defense offered to the ODC.
We expected to find some extremely graphic material, so this is not surprising but it certainly makes me wonder what is in the file. I am disappointed.
Just how bad is this case????
Remember, this is evidence re: the man who was a CPS worker for the county, a deputy sheriff, a candidate for county commissioner, and has been serving as a guardian ad litem for the children under CPS authority.
The case is now in the hands of the Supreme Court!!
Should we file a motion for release of the DVD??? Perhaps Mr. Clifton would release a copy of it to us. (Unless, he fears the exposure)
