Editor's Note:  Jonese circumvented his usual process server, Chuck Alexander, and his other deputies  in choosing the ultimate insult to two local members of the Civil Service Board:  Howard Shinaberry,  a respected game warden and former trooper Jeff Barlow his own employee who is an officer for the corrections board on which Jonese serves.  Here's the paperwork on that:

  3. Good old run a muck has everyone mad at him, not that I care for grinaberry or care what he thinks , by the way how's the rear end doing these days grinaberry.
I would think with the mighty muck facing so many legal actions from so many people he would stop and pick his battles.
    Some people never learn.

    thats what im thinkin'!
who the hell iz foot'n da bill for all these ding dang maggot infested lawyerz???
the "good sheriff" only makes $40K a year.

at last count, "sheriff crusty chrome dome" has at least two (2) lawyerz a represent'n his "dirty deeds done dirt cheap".
one female scoundrel and one male scoundrel.
that don't leave much coinage to bring home to the good lil woman', not to mention 3 kidz, nor all the expenses on the political police plantation.

all of which, begs another question....
to hell with all the promotional talk of "keep your money at home".
why aint juxtaposed jonese a hirin' local scoundrelz to be a represent'n him???
oddz are, u at least gotta tell your stinkin' lawyer the truth of the situation..........and ol' crusty chrome dome don't want none of that gettin' out and float'n around the community.
hence, "way outside the loco poco forest" counsel is bein' a summoned to the dark forest to spin some talez of wonder in the hallowed hollow hallz of slow roe rowe!!!

  5. Howard if you do run for sheriff look at what the big mocker has done and try to learn from it. Don't end up with civil suits coming out your nose and ears like him.
We need some respectability in that office for a change instead of more scandals than the Obama crew.

      so u gotta ask yourself-
why would sheriff crusty chrome dome file a lawsuit........and hire an attorney out of pocket........to "protect and serve" the public?
if this was the case, the "good sheriff" woulda, shoulda, coulda raised the legal issue at the county commission meeting and let them handle it.........with public funds to feed the lawyerz,......if one was even necessary.
the "good sheriff" is on the way out the door.......and aint runnin' for re-election.......so what is his angle and his vested interest in filing a lawsuit???
who is pay'n for the legal services?
how do these guys get'n dump'd out of their jobs benefit the sheriff.......or anyone else???
why would jonese pay out of pocket for a lawyer on somethin' like this?

is this another case of misuse of office for political bully'n?
is this a pre-emptive political strike against future candidates for sherff?
does the sheriff already have his 'chosen boy' candidate picked out?
will this lawsuit be able to be utilized as "dirt" against future candidates?
or is this lawsuit a "distraction"???
is jonese using this power play to deflect any liability and pending legal action that has already transpired on his watch???
what knowledge do these two hold that can be used against our "good sheriff"?
why would a lawyer experienced in "law enforcement liability and defense" be hired to handle a simple matter like this???

      You're leaving now
      It's in your eyes
      There's no disguising it
It really comes as no surprise
To find that you planned it all along

      I see it now
      Becomes so clear
      Your insincerity
      And me all starrey-eyed
You'd think that I would have known by now

      [Chorus:]
Now, sure as the sun will cross the sky
      This lie is over
Lost, like the tears that used to tide me over

      (Only time will tell)
      One thing is sure
      That time will tell
      (Only time will tell)
      If you were wrong
The brightest ring around the moon
      Will darken when I die

      [Chorus]

      [Repeat first verse]
      [Repeat second verse]
      [Chorus]

      (Only time will tell)
      You're on your own
      Inside your room
      (Only time will tell)
      You're claiming victory
      You were just using me
And there is no one you can use now

      (Only time will tell)
      One thing is sure
      That time will tell...

its a good thing our top law enforcement official has the skills and abilities to catch 2 thugz just a sitting around and holding office.
if they were rapists, or real criminals, the "good sheriff" wouldn't have a clue!

with this latest salvo fired off by the sheriff, he has basically "defecated down the throat" of his fellow law enforcement agencies.
word on the street gets around and this wont soon be forgotten.

remember the deposition and hearing testimony of troopers Galloway, etc-
jonese only contacts us "when HE needs or wants something".
im confident the troopers aint gonna be forgetting this anytime soon and will be more than reluctant to "kindly assist" the pcsd in any capacity.....unless it pertains to a true emergency or some serious law breaking incidents.

.....and here is yet another case where slow roe rowe sits in "neutrality", with absolutely no relationship whatsoever with the "good sheriff".
and yet......u can bet your bottom dollar that the judge is a starring member of "the team" of jonese.
the judge sure as hell aint "the enemy"- otherwise jonese would be screaming for a new judge.
yep, the fix is pre-set and already dialed in.
another "fair and impartial" hearing in the loco poco forest.

  14. Looks like he has given up on the San Salvador drug cartels and Hells Angles invading the county ( IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN ) also the fat man and Donna have made him look silly so its time to go after someone , why not a State Patrol man and a Game warden who might end up as a political opponent . I am surprised Officer Nelson is still in the safe zone . Who knows give it time

  15. Two things here. First, If they aren't supposed to serve on the commission while holding disqualifying jobs, what is the issue? Second, Are you guys taking the sheriff's military retirement pay into account? I've no idea how long he served, but it's roughly $4500 per month for an O-5 (lieutenant colonel) with 20 years. Where do his personal finances come into question? If Howard and Jeff hold jobs that (according to rule) disqualify them, why should the sheriff have to spend his own money? Removing them from the commission would be in the best interest of the citizenry wouldn't it? Thus, tax-payers should foot the bill.
Just my two cents. If I'm missing something here feel free to enlighten me.

      u r correct.
on face value, it looks like jonese has valid legal justification to remove the two of em.

the personal finances come into question because it fully appears that jonese hired private counsel to handle what should have been a public matter.
see my earlier comments above from a few days ago.
it doesn't make any sense for jonese to take on this issue with coin out of his personal pocket- hence the question, who is really paying for this???
it fully appears to be a public matter. jonese should have raised the issue at the cc meeting and let them take the ball from there.
if any lawsuits were necessary, the cc woulda foot the bill at the expense of the taxpayers to dump the two from their positions.

which begs the other questions- why in hades would jonese foot the bill?
what does he have to gain?
he aint running for constable of the loco poco forest again.
what is his personal or political angle?
what is it that these 2 know about jonese and the pcsd that could be damaging-------civilly, criminally, etc.???
if they got any goods they best be contacting the fbi and the u.s.attorneys office.

      some other interesting questions to ask;

the timing of the lawsuit - WHY NOW?
HOW LONG have these 2 been diligently serving on the board before jonese got his feathers all ruffled and blown into a hullabaloo for a civil lawsuit to arise???
I would imagine that these 2 have served for quite some extended period of time.
why didn't jonese raise the issue a long time ago?
WHAT has transpired between these 3 dudes for a lawsuit to surface?

jonese may very well be reflecting more light and questions into his pcsd than he ever bargained for by filing this lawsuit.
      only time will tell.....

    3. navin r johnson, esquire!!!September 2, 2014 at 10:48 PM

more contextual framework to place on this situation....

juxtaposed jonese totally blew off an underage rape and sexual assault victim and tucked tail feathers and walked out of the room.
.....and yet, he deems this issue important enough to hire private legal counsel and file a lawsuit in a court of law.......when it shoulda been a cc public issue.

if nothing else, it sure as hades calls into question his judgement........or serious lack thereof......most particularly as the top dog law enforcement authority in the loco poco forest.

rape and sexual assault victim- no problemo!
petty lawsuit - bring on the calvary and hired guns!

another question to ask is who the heck voted em on the ding dang commission in the first place.
if they are tenured officers with the dnr and state police, then they most likely shoulda never been there in the first place.
who was turning a blind eye when this transpired............and why???
