This statement is an argument for an idea based upon an irrelevant appeal to its popularity. The legitimacy of an idea depends not on its popularity, but on its truth credentials.The number of people who believe a claim is irrelevant to its truth. By this kind of tactic, people are be made to feel guilty if they oppose the majority or feel strong by joining forces with large numbers of uncritical thinkers.
Not a valid argument for putting heavy duty security in POCOHO courthouse!
the cc filed the formal complaint. it is official business that they initiated. it is their sworn duty and job to follow up on this issue and see it to resolution. the cc owes an answer to the citizens of the loco poco forest. looks like they are game to follow up on the issue and address it. it sounds like the ethics commission needs a fire lit under their rears. the formal complaint motion was made in November 2012. it has been 18 months. this is more than sufficient time to have some kind of answer at this point. lets hope we soon see some action steps taken to address jonese's actions.
so you don`t think that runny muck has flaming fleming by the all bays ??????? and that bear dog walker isn`t wearing a shock collar,since his recent arrest for god knows what ??????????????and poor new guy looks like he doesn`t know who`s on 2nd base ???????so god help us !!!!!!!!
to be honest, im surprised it hasn't alredy been done a long time ago. virtually every courthouse in the country has electronic security screening xrays with an army of private security guards conducting the screening. every person and everything they bring into the courthouse is screened just like the airport screening process. empty your pockets and place items in a small clear bucket, place it on the conveyor belt for screening. place your purse, briefcase, papers, in a bin and they are screened as well. if u have a soda in a GLASS bottle, u cant bring it in. the glass bottle is construed as a "potential weapon". no knives- including pocket knives and "loco poco pencil sharpeners".
in the post 9/11 world, every american citizen is now considered suspect to be a danger to themselves or someone else. the terrorists have largely won and achieved their goals. we are giving up our freedoms and liberties on a daily basis - while proclaiming to be fighting for the "freedoms and liberties" of others around the world.
