school funding ?????? what we need are kids to go to the schools,remember when we had three high schools ????? we lay teachers off because of declining enrollment.......there is nothing here to keep people from leaving..........things change,hate to say it,but it is true, nothing stays the same.........who puts a big ass chain on a dog like that unless you don`t really care about the dog ??????????
why don`t you just stop scaring people on stuff that no one knows anything about,sounds like the same rap you have for affordable health care........a bunch of uninformed people that see a plot behind everything....... and stand in the way always.........couple of facts::coal is about finished in w.v mostly dug out.,so is logging,no one wants the wood,all the furniture is being made in china and viet nam........the furniture mills are all closing in the carolina`s..........there is almost no manufacturing in this state.........every year 2,200 young people leave and never come back........meth heads and pill heads stay put.........and most of all young kids are not hunting !!!!!!! west virginia and pennsylvania can`t give hunting license away,there are no takers.........fishing is also on the down turn.........pocahontas county is almost 900 square miles,that leaves plenty of places to play daniel boone.........a lot of people agree that beer hunting is cruel to the bears and to the bear dogs ..........there are not a lot of states that even allow running bears with dogs,at all ............stocked trout compete with native fish ,the natives spend all of their time defending nesting sites and they don`t eat,,,,,,,,,,finally no one in hillsboro or marlinton own this proposed site,we all own it,everyone in the united states.......so maybe we would like to hear first what it is all about,because one day that monument might be the only thing in this county,long after you bear hunters,and fly casters are long dead and gone..........what is there about 8,000 people left in the county,400 die every year,maybe we should start thinking about ways to keep our grandchildren from leaving for lack of a future here ?????? hard to imagine what it will look like in 20 years from now...........so my advice is take a chill pill,and talk the thing ,hear both sides......... i am starting to think the internet is a lot like the bible........you can find something in it to support any idea you want it to.........stop finding examples in imontana or tim buck to,,, to say that the same might happen here......... this really isn`t a fight for your second amendment rights or your fishing gear............
